McALLEN, Texas – Valley Land Fund and Quinta Mazatlan will host Through the Eyes of Children, a free outdoor exhibit and awards ceremony celebrating entries in the Southern Exposures Youth Nature Photo Contest.
The event begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Quinta Mazatlan, 600 Sunset Drive. The program will feature children’s nature photography, a live animal presentation by Urban Frontier, educational booths and food trucks.
The evening will also include screenings of A Texas Wildlife Story and Children’s Photos. Sponsors include H-E-B Our Texas Our Future, Valley Land Fund, Magic Valley Electric Cooperative, AEP Texas, Frost and Vantage Bank.
