McAllen’s Independence Day schedule is set for a full day of July 4 events, according to a June 29, 2026, post from Explore McAllen.
The city’s 94th annual Independence Day Celebration is planned around several public events, beginning with the Independence 4K and continuing with an 8 a.m. patriotic program at the Archer Park Review Stand. The Main Street Parade is scheduled for 9 a.m. in downtown McAllen.
Family activities continue at Archer Park with the Freedom Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The McAllen Municipal Pool is also scheduled to host the Aquatica Extravaganza from 1 to 4 p.m., with admission listed at $2.50 per person.
The evening program begins at 6 p.m. at McAllen Municipal Park, with the Concert in the Sky fireworks show expected around 9 p.m.
