McALLEN, Texas – McAllen Public Library is offering free online tutoring through Tutor.com as students begin the new school year.
The service is available to kindergarten through 12th-grade students and people enrolled in higher education. Tutoring is offered in more than 250 subjects, giving students access to help outside regular classroom hours.
Live tutors are available from noon to midnight. Students can use the program for assistance with coursework and subjects in which they need additional guidance.
A McAllen Public Library card is required to access Tutor.com through the library. The service is free to eligible library cardholders.
Families and college students should use the library's online resources to enter the service and verify access with their library card. Residents who need a card or have questions about online access can contact McAllen Public Library.
