Four McAllen ISD students earned awards at the annual All Valley Sports Awards banquet held June 12, 2026, in Edinburg. We are proud to celebrate these remarkable achievements. From left to right, they are
Kennedy Kaiser – Memorial High School Girls Soccer Player of the Year
D’Aundre Canada – McAllen High School Boys Basketball Player of the Year
Lylah Lopez-Castillo – Memorial High School 5A/6A Female Athlete of the Year
Ava Aragon – McAllen High School Girls Wrestler of the Year
McAllen ISD had the most nominations of any school district with 16.
