Rio Grande Valley travelers have a growing list of nonstop flight options from the region’s commercial airports, including McAllen International Airport, Valley International Airport in Harlingen and Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport.
McAllen International Airport offers nonstop service to major Texas business hubs and leisure destinations, including Dallas, Houston, Austin, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix and Monterrey, Mexico, depending on carrier schedules.
The expanded regional network gives South Texas travelers more choices without first driving to larger airports outside the Valley. Harlingen and Brownsville also continue to serve domestic and seasonal routes, broadening the region’s overall air travel access.
