PHARR, Texas – The Pharr Economic Development Corp. has joined Impulso Developments and NAI Rio Grande Valley to break ground on a new retail project at 705 W. Nolana Loop.
The site is near Interstate 69C, next to a Dollar Tree and across from the Monarch Apartments. Developers said the location is positioned to serve nearby residents and traffic moving through one of the city’s active commercial corridors.
Pharr EDC Executive Director Victor Perez said the development reflects continued private investment and demand for retail space in the community. City Commissioner Victor Medina, economic development officials and project partners attended the groundbreaking.
Officials said the project is expected to add commercial options, support jobs and expand the city’s tax base as development continues around Nolana Loop and the interstate.
