McAllen Public Library will host its annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library, 4001 N. 23rd St.
The event will offer free health screenings, including blood glucose, blood pressure, BMI, dental screenings and A1C screening. South Texas Research Institute will also provide liver scans by registration, with participants asked to fast for three hours before their appointment.
The fair will also include a blood donation drive, informational booths, family yoga and other wellness activities.
