Texans on Mission Teams Deploy to Hill Country Flood Zone

Texans on Mission Disaster Relief teams have deployed to Kerrville, Boerne and Uvalde to bring help, hope and healing to survivors of flooding in the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas.

The organization has sent assessors, flood recovery crews, shower and laundry units, feeding teams, an incident management team, asset protection volunteers, box ministry workers, chaplains and electrical support.

Flood recovery teams are working in heat and humidity to remove water-soaked drywall and flooring, clear mud and debris, and help residents begin the recovery process. Chaplains are also providing spiritual support to homeowners.

Texans on Mission said the damage is widespread and severe, and that work requests are increasing daily. The organization is accepting financial donations to support the response.
