The International Museum of Art & Science will host its 47th Annual Collage Gala on Friday, Aug. 28, at the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom.
The annual gala is IMAS’s premier fundraiser and supports the museum’s art and science education programs, exhibitions and hands-on learning experiences for children, families and visitors across the Rio Grande Valley.
The evening is expected to include fine dining, live entertainment, auctions and immersive art and science experiences.
IMAS is the region’s only museum dedicated to both art and science and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. Museum leaders say gala proceeds help expand access to cultural and educational programming for learners of all ages.
